They wrote it in 1787. Fifty-five men in a Philadelphia room, in the middle of a summer that would decide everything, put words to paper that no government had ever dared write before.
Not "the King decrees." Not "the crown allows."
We the People.
Three words that changed the architecture of power forever. The rest of the Preamble told you what they intended to build, a more perfect Union, justice, liberty, a standard worth handing down. They weren't describing what existed. They were committing to what had to be.
That commitment didn't come free. It never has. Every generation since has inherited it without earning it and faced the same question: is this still worth defending?
This shirt doesn't answer that question. It just reminds you it's still being asked.
